Alastair has used his talent as a chef and caterer across the globe, for a wide variety of weddings and events; West Country, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, estate weddings, Devon beach weddings, sporting weekends for prestigious country estates, corporate team building weekends and intimate dinner parties in private houses.  

Where do Alastair David caterers run weddings and events?

After years travelling the globe and working and eating on four continents, Alastair has returned home, to build Alastair David Catering, with some very talented event organisers, to cater for the smartest and most refined palates in London and the South West.

Cooking style

Robust & elegant.  Local & organic.  Wandering British cuisine. His food is recognisably British in tone, but borrows occasionally from India, the Americas, France, Italy and Spain.

The best local ingredients

The focus is always on sourcing the best local ingredients - our Friends list will build over the next few months, and Alastair has a personal relationship with some of the best producers in the South West. Taste is the number one driver of all Alastair David food choices. Sustainability, organic being part of this, is also high on his agenda.

As excited by a greenhouse tomato as by a fine beef fillet or native lobster, Alastair squeezes the last ounce of flavour from everything and lets quality ingredients speak for themselves.
